What information we collect
When you sign up for StarPing, we collect your email address and the details you enter during setup — including your business name, owner name, and Google review link.
When you add customers through the dashboard, we store the customer's name, phone number, job type, and technician name. This information is used solely to send review request messages on your behalf.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide the StarPing service — specifically to send personalised SMS review requests to your customers after a job is completed.
We may also use your email address to send you important account updates or service notifications. We will never send you marketing emails without your consent.
We never sell your data
Your data and your customers' data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Full stop.
SMS and customer phone numbers
Customer phone numbers you enter are used only to send a single SMS review request. We do not use them for any other purpose, and we do not pass them to any third party other than our SMS delivery provider (Twilio), which is used solely to deliver your messages.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access.
How to delete your account
You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us at hello@starping.co.uk. We will process your request within 7 days.
